Role Overview:

As a Senior Functional Consultant at o9 Solutions, you will be responsible for end-to-end solution design, configuration, implementation, and data analytics for o9’s platform. You will engage directly with clients, translating complex business requirements into robust technical solutions and driving successful deployment of advanced supply chain and operations planning tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Design:

• Engage in end-to-end solution design, configuration, implementation, data analytics, testing, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead business process discussions with clients, documenting best-practice “to-be” business processes.
• Identify, collect, and manage operational data across diverse formats and systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical platform designs, including infrastructure considerations.

Configuration:

• Collaborate with architects and technical leads to produce functional and technical designs.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications and configure the o9 platform to solve complex supply chain challenges.

Data Analytics:

• Apply mathematical models, statistical techniques, optimization algorithms, and simulations to analyze large datasets.
• Leverage programming languages and tools for ETL processes, forecasting, and operational planning.
• Develop data visualizations to communicate insights to client management.

Testing:

• Work with R&D teams to resolve product gaps and deploy enhancements in client environments.
• Create and execute workflow and data analytics test cases, document issues, and ensure resolution.
• Design and implement testing protocols, including automation where possible.

Communication:

• Partner with clients, cross-functional teams, and business stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Develop and deliver training to Super Users and End Users globally.
• Mentor junior analysts, guiding them on technical and business project aspects.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree with 1 year of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience, preferably in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, or related fields with a focus on operations or analytics.
• Experience implementing supply chain planning solutions or working in supply chain/logistics functions.
• Strong presentation skills for communicating complex topics clearly and concisely.
• Experience in leading or supporting full life-cycle supply chain planning implementations (requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, value realization).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology for large-scale implementations.
• Proficiency in statistical and optimization software tools such as R, SAS, CPLEX (preferred).
• Proficiency in spreadsheet, document, and presentation tools (Microsoft and Google Suite).
• Knowledge of databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and strong skills in at least one query language (SQL, MDX, T-SQL).
• Strong analytical skills, data mining capabilities, and experience working with large data sets.
• Ability to extract actionable insights and prioritize high-value opportunities.
